The Miva Merchant Elements framework and Shadows ReadyTheme ships with the “Cash” Javascript library instead of jQuery. This is fine as-is but, a lot of 3rd party plugins have been developed over the years and they require jQuery. So as soon as you want to do something from your preferred toolbox you’ll want jQuery back. Here are some simple steps on how to get jQuery back into your Miva Merchant store on the Elements Framework. This site we’re currently working on uses the Shadows ReadyTheme.
