Tech Note: Miva Merchant 4 does not display right in Internet Explorer 7
Odds are, if your store layout or navigation relies on CSS, your Miva Merchant 4 store will not display correctly in Internet Explorer 7. The problem often lies within the document type declaration:

"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">
The document declaration needs to appear as the very first line of code in the merchant.mvc file - it can't be done via the Miva admin. You can find a fix or work around here:
